Thanks for the input Julianz, and everyone else.
I have heeded the warnings. I went for Hitachi 2TB 7200's with a 3 yr warranty.
On another note, today I received the last of the bits I need so will start building in anger tonight.
The parts list is basically as I spec'ced in my first post, with these diff's:
Mobo: Gigabyte GA-Z77M-D3H-MVP
RAM: 2 x Transcend JM1333KLN-2G
I also went for a Silverstone Grandia GD02 (about the only one shallow enough for my cabinet), so I'll let ya'll know how it goes.
