The buzzing can be a set-to-set thing, so Harvey's would probably just call it a DOA unit, and replace it with another one.

The problem in the case of the 60" GT50 is that it isn't a common model. We can both forget about doing a straight swap. More or less every unit in the country is spoken for and every unit in the next batch is spoken for...

Its a panel lottery and I wouldn't worry about it until you have it in your home.
I'm clocking up the hours on mine, so it may well change. Early days, but generally this isn't the type of problem that corrects itself sadly.

I got a 55 gt30 last year.
The buzzing was really noticeable at the start, but after a few months it reduced significantly. From memory that is what people on the avs forum said was happening to them as well.
