Frankei: Do you mean you don't have any inputs for the DVD player on your TV?
Or that you do have the inputs on the TV but you also want to take the audio out of the TV and into a Stereo?
If you mean you don't have any inputs on your TV for a DVD player than what you need is a "RF Modulator"
It has a Yellow and a White connector (only gives you mono sound) and you run the aerial from your wall to the VCR (if you have one) then from the VCR to the RF Modulator and from the RF Modulator to the TV. Then you simply tune your TV on an empty channel to the RF Modulator like you would with a VCR.

I do believe I said in my first message there are NO and i repeat NO plugs on the back of my tv apart from the aerial plug and the SCART plug which we later found.
I don't have a VCR to do any of that stuff you said, so that puts a line thru that.
This is unbelievable. There must be thousands of people out there with my problem. There must be an adapter that has the outputs (yellow white and red or black or whatever bloody colours they are) so you can work your DVD! And that you don't need a VCR to do so.
