KiwiTim: Can you tell me where you purchased your Asus Tiger and what the model number is?

I can concur with Hauppauge. I'll never buy that brand again. Their support is terrible; their forum do not respond to postings; their official support team do not respond to email requests in any detail other than the most generic responses like " get Windows Updates, then reinstall our latest software", which is what anybody with half a brain would have tried in the first place.

I would like a dual DVB-T tuner if I can get one, either PCI or USB.

Tim

All from trademe. I have had three, one was an asus branded, the other two were sold as being pulled from ex OEM HP systems.
I have lost the asus box alas, and just call them that based on the built in windows driver. I think they are the P7131.
Single tuner only though. Here is one

Thanks for the info. If they run happily on Windows 8, then I'll get an Asus My Cinema 7131 Hybrid.

Never again Hauppauge!

Thanks,

Tim

I got a response from Asus regarding OS support:

"The Multimedia My Cinema 7131 Hybrid can not support win8 OS."

That is a shame.

Them saying they dont support it and it not working are 2 totally different things.

Chances are they dont want to pay someone to re-do the documentation with new screenshots.
