and dont forget to have too many power points, I think i can say for every one there is never enough to go around. Although there are different schools of thought about wifi, if I were in your position I would have a good appropriate type of antenna installed into the house structure. Even if you never use it, at least you know its possible.

Has anyone had a play with the Sonos systems?

THe remote is incredible, and whilst the system is probably on the pricey side, the ability to literally grab music from any source (especially from a NAS etc) is ideal.

I had the first model D-Link DSM-320. Like my other D-Link experiences, I wouldn't go there again - even though it seems it is now a more polished product, compatible with a variety of media servers. But now there are other options in the market.

As for the Sonos, great device - I had one here for a couple of weeks last year. The remote control is an incredible experience, and it's really easy to use. If it wasn't so expensive...
