yeah it sounds like you're getting there. Channel order is done by selecting the "TV Channels" node and then you'll see tabs on the right, Each tab including "All Channels" is a group you can add more groups and put your channels in the groups.

Selecting channels can be done just as usual :-)

WAF is very important, but when complaints do arise they are quickly quashed by suggesting the option of going back to TV before PVR i.e.  no recording/scheduling,  no timeshifting etc. ;-)

Yeah, haha, true. We haven't had a recorder for years - and she often wants to record something like Sensing Murder and watch NCIS. This could be a godsend!

On the channel order thing, is that changed in TVServer setup, or within MP itself? If under TVServer (not at 'puter now - Coro is on and I dare not disturb) is it under the the Groups section? I'm sure I'll get there tonight - I feel it in my bones that MP will take over this weekend!

OK. Went 'Live' yesterday.

Results, on the whole, pretty good.

The Channels are all in the right order , most with Logos. EPG all there. All I have to do here is get it so the typing in channel numbers works properly - Any hints - I think I may have to go and put in heaps of dummy channels??

Blasting works (95% of the time - sometimes it just causes the Sky Box to stutter/pixelate and doesn't change the channel? maybe too much light on the front of the Sky box?)

Watched a Movie - Wife happy!

All I have to do now is start ripping the huge collection of CDs and get them thumbnailed etc., not too much of a problem I don't think.

Only issue is because I am running dual screens (Monitor and TV), if someone touches the keyboard or mouse clicks on the sec. monitor I have there for debugging, MP loses focus and minimizes to tray. Once it is there - it will not re-maximise - only way round is to kill the process and restart it - def. not Wife friendly.
