Hey thanks for the link, it seems HDMI works if that is the only output you use, not what I brought it for or what the box and info indicates, was good to see clear video & audio via HDMI tho! Will keep trying as there must be a way, cheers

What operating system are you using? Since I've looked into it I don't believe it's possible to have simultaneous outputs with any video card if you're using HDMI on one of the outputs.

Similar problem.

I have a Nivida 8400mgt with HDMI out.    I get 1:1 picture perfect on the Phillips LCD with HDMI in, but no sound?   I have tried all settings on my sound card, Enable HDMI and set it as default.   Sound dissappers from PC but does not come out of the TV speakers?   Any ideas?

Does the 8400mgt have onboard sound? or do you have to feed it the sound from another source?

What output or WAV driver are you using from Windows Audio settings as the default?
