Dunnersfella:
The Panasonic / Netflix issue has been around since 2012.
On my Panasonic TV's I have to go into the audio settings and switch the audio out to 'Auto' or similar to get sound. Every time I start a new show I have to repeat this - hence I no longer use the Panasonic's Netflix app (using the MacMini / Apple TV / PS3 and XBox One instead... lot of options).
Dolby Digital Plus compatible bluetooth headphones... hmmm, never seen any sorry.
Thanks. I did see a couple of forum posts suggesting similar. However on mine even toggling this setting doesn't work.
Do you know if this is something limited to Panasonic Netflix apps? Anyone know if switching to an LG or Sony would fix the issue? This would be frustrating if so, as I rejected those two due to a (to me) more complicated menu structure. Since it's a TV, I'm shopping for the lowest common denominator in the house (she will get angry if she finds out I called her that). Might be necessary though. I've spoken to JB Hifi and they were really good. It doesn't sound as though they will have a problem switching the set for something else.
