I've just picked up on this thread as I've just learnt that an Echo Dot can synch with a Sonos device. So, I'm looking to experiment with this. However, I can't find anywhere that tells me how to connect the Dot. Can I use an ethernet cable and connect it directly into the back of my Playbar (as it has 2 rg45 ports) ? Or, do I need a switch? So, I'm assuming that once it's setup, I can ask Alexa to play the music that's on my PC - right?

I've read somewhere that once you use the Dot with Sonos, it messes with the TV sound, in that you have to reconfigure that. Anyone experienced this or any other glitch?

Whilst I'm here, has anyone used a Dot in conjunction with a Macmini?

Thank you.

Sonos what have you done to the android app.....

Dear oh dear its gone down the toilet.

The apps store should also list rating for the current version not just the average over the apps history.

Would show 4.5* down to 1-1.5 stars for the last "updated" version.

+1. It's still workable, but a mess compared with its earlier version. It looks like they are trying to move the menu items to the bottom of the screen - which is the current trend to try and improve one-handed use. But, FAIL.
