haha specifically told them im not writing formal reviews, takes way too much time

Will be using an AM2 4800+
Mainly standard stuff
- Vista 32bit Ultimate
- MediaPortal RC1 maybe RC2
- PowerDVD 8
- Monogram AAC
- Nova T 500 HD
- HVR2200
etc

How about I'll get an 8400GT if 8300 fails to run well :p

Hopefully get it done in a week as have a Gigabyte 3D Mercury to test first

Yeah, apparently the 8400GS doesn't have full acceleration so it would be nice to see some cpu usage shots in comparison.

Also another program to look into which has native hardware acceleration is Media Player Classic - Home Cinema.
