I know that windows did have something recently to disable really old insecure versions of SMB happening, so perhaps that has happened and kodi cant do anything now? I havent used my android box with kodi on it for ages but may get it out and try again sometime.

 

 

 

as long as Kodi is up to date it supports up to smbv3. 
However, I just had a play with a windows 10 box and kodi couldn't see it unless I specified to use smbv1 in kodi settings.

Once that was set I was straight in.
