...update. It turns out that they ARE all telstraclear sockets. The apartments have NO aerial coverage: it was tried last year with a high quality aerial, but since we're in the bottom of a steep valley, it turns out there is virtually no reception.
It's telstraclear tv, or nothing at all. Gutting. Pricey, and gutting - goodbye HDTV.

woow, thats bad, your right LIM reports should mention limitations to TCLs network only. Do you have a northwest aspect deck. PM me if you want an apprasal to see if there are other options, there are very few places where OptusD1 (Sky or FreeView Sat) cannot be received, so there may be option on that even if no FreeViewHD(UHF) options.
I charge only a modest fee for an appraisal if there is no potental outcome.
Cheers, Cyril, will keep it in mind. There's no limitation, per se - nothing in the body corp or anyone with a restriction against other providers - just v.steep valley walls. The sky option may work - I'd need body corp permission for a dish, mind you, which is specifically forbidden on the body corp at this point... but these things were drawn up before HD, and if they want it to be a high end complex (they do), they need to take HD service into account.

Would not hold my breath, they still dont seem to get SD let alone HD. Still happy to give an appraisal for either one unit or whole building upgrade, to limit or restrict to just TCL is simply not good enough, concidering the quality of their service.
