The only disappointing thing about this is that Samsung TVs won't be supporting HomeKit, while all of the others will be. This is because Samsung wants you to use their version of Siri (called Bixby). Annoying.
A lot of iTunes movies are now available to stream in Dolby Vision (DV). Samsung do not support DV, only HDR10+.
I have watched several DV movies on my Sony Bravia/Apple TV 4K, and they look great to my aging eyes.
I am not in the market for a new TV just yet, but if Samsung continue to not support DV, then I will not be considering a new Samsung.

I didn’t think many manufacturers supported DV? Mostly LG and TCL.

Early reports say that the Philips OLED804 and OLED854 are excellent displays. I am also interested in their Ambilight technology, which does away with the need for an LED bias lighting strip. Philips market is firmly set on Europe, so unfortunately only PB Tech seem to sell Philips displays in NZ, but I have lately seen some of their LED models on the Harvey Norman website.
All of Philips 2019 (except some of the basic models) sets, support Dolby Vision/HDR10+ and Dolby Atmos. With their updated P5 Pro picture technology, I may be going the Philips OLED way when sales time comes around.

That was the case, but Sony, Panasonic, Philips along with LG and others have now climbed on board. Samsung are probably the only TV manufacturer not supporting DV.
