Hi richms, thanks for the reply.

Good to know to steer away from standard double adaptors. Would the adaptor I linked to be suitable however? It claims to have overload protection, actually it appears to be more like a small 2 plug power board.

Im not seeing it in the picture, and they dont legally have to put one on anything with 2 outlets so I wouldnt expect it to. If you can see one in the shop and it has a reset button etc on it then you could use that. Or you could spend 1/4 the amount on one with 4 outlets and no useless USB ones that you know will have an overload breaker of somesort on it.
