Gyro, I'm trying to get hardware acceleration going with my HVR2200 and have followed the cranznz guide.

Can you explain what you mean by:
"in the Configure MediaPortal plugins section, double click the Cyberlink PDVD8 H264 codec and then tick the box to enable it".

How do I get to the Configure MediaPortal plugins section?

Is this Configuration -> Plugins?
I see My Emulators, My TV, My Radio etc but I don't se any PDVD8 codec plugin listed in there. Should I?

-Matt

Load Mediaportal Configuration
Enable expert mode (right hand top corner)
Goto Television -> Select PDVD8 as the H264 Codec
Goto Directshow Filters -> Click the (+) sign to expand all the sub options, there is an option there is a tick box to enable use of PDVD8 Hardware acceleration.

HTPC / Home automation (home assistant) enthusiast.

OK thanks kiwijunglist, yes I've already done all of that but I thought gyro was talking about some other setting or plugin I'd missed.

I still can't get hardware acceleration working on my Asus P5Q.
