Have a listen to anything you’re interested in buying... especially comparing those two options, given they’re so different - I’d be surprised if the audio quality of the Sonos wasn’t better than the Panasonic, but the lack at the deep end may be a downer. I guess you could always add the sub later. Also, it may or or may not matter to you that Sonos is a relatively closed ecosystem.

 

But, anyway I imagine there are many other options under $1k, so it may pay to look wider now you seem to have turned towards a soundbar rather than a HTIAB.

so ended up buying the Beam for the bedroom and I'm loving it! I do see why people go for Sonos. Now..time to save up and get the Arc for the living room :)
