Ah huh... just had a look under TV audio options and the section for dolby decoding is grayed out. Bit of reading looks like it is a driver/hardware issue. Will do some more reading and see what I can find.

Have you checked using Graphedit to verify what codecs are being used for each media file type? I'm still on XPMCE, so can't help with W7.
One other possibility if it's not just a W7 issue: do you have ffdshow installed? It could be interposing itself into the codec chain. It may even have been installed without your knowledge in the past by some other codec install. Just a thought.
No other codecs installed. Other then the possibility that TMT is sticking its oar in somehow but then on the TMT forums there are complaints about the fact that no other software CAN use the TMT codecs so dont think that is the issue. What I needs is someone else in NZ that uses TMT 3 and Freeview|HD just to confirm if it does/does not work.
