Silly me, I seem to have included some of the last posters post at the end of my post. didn't mean to do that (testing out geekzone mobile at the moment ;-)
Oh I see. I assumed things were a bit more automated than that. So I have to source a TV guide schedule from somewhere for the configuration program?
Obviously your doing great work here Andrew, it's just frustrating for me because I'd love a program to exist where I click 'install' & for the most part it puts a NZ guide in Windows Media Center. I just want a TV guide but by the sounds of it (from other threads as well) I have to learn all these complex bloody things first. :(
@andrewderekjackson: To stop it from showing the console when it runs with the scheduler I had to create another account and set it to run with that account. But at least it works now.
Also, does the EPG Importer stop functioning after the trial date specified in the console passes?
FreddyK: With the BigScreenEPG beta trial over, I thought I'd give this program a whirl only to find this beta has expired also. Is it likely to be extended?
You realise you can use the full release of BS EPG in "Free" mode?
You loose a bit of functionality and it only does 4 days ahead EPG but free is free.

Hi Guys... I've just uploaded a new version which extends the trial period by 3 months. More information here.
By the end of this period I should have made up my mind how I want to license this going further, either charging a (very) small price or doing something else.
I would be very interested in hearing what you guys think would be a fair price for this app, or what features are missing that you must have before you would consider forking out your hard earned cash. ;-)
- If you have no internet connection and this program runs (I have it scheduled for 3am and my modem was off at the time) it will delete all channels from the guide, only way i was able to get it back was to reload all channels and listings from scratch....
Requests:
- Can the channels names be loaded when the listings are setup? I automatically have Sky Sport Highlights with a name in the guide, but no others. Or is this supposed to be in my listings?
- Is there any way to automate the channels listings when first setup? Instead of having to load them one by one.
When I used to use Reven's tool I created a basic cmd script that would error out if the file size was less then a certain size. Was to stop the issue with a file with no or very little EPG data being imported. Sure it would not be difficult to implement in this software? (note I have not used it so just assumption here)

I followed the guide here: http://www.geekzone.co.nz/forums.asp?forumid=126&topicid=61353&page_no=1 # 340 898
For some reason at 5 "You should be able to see the imported listing (Should be in the format Channel Name - EPG Importer"
I do not see a different source, to the program guide of what I have. I have listed only one "Cable-BOX. Although I did everything as the guide. What could be the problem?
Hi All, I've taken note of the feature requests. I will try and have a solution to the issue with deleting channels when network connection is not available ASAP because that is definitely a blocking bug in my mind.
New release coming soon, as well as a website and re-branding of the product.
