My two plasmas made all sorts of noises, that's why I returned them for an LCD. I don't notice any significant difference in image quality, though if you examined them side by side you might.

timmmay: Plasma TVs make noises, there's not much you can do about that. Exchange it for an LCD.


My 60 " LG Plasa never makes a sound.  It is two years old as well and with kids, spends much of it's time on!
