No, as I understand it Guidehound is only useful with WMC - it translates XMLTV formatted data into the Microsoft proprietary format that WMC understands. MediaPortal understands XMLTV natively (well, technically it has a built-in plugin)...

This is strange. Try shutting down then starting up your computer (*not* a restart - a full power down), and then immediately try to use EPG Collector with either the Auckland infill frequency (530000 kHz) or the Waitarua frequency (538000 kHz). One of those should work...

Fixed!. I scheduled epg collection at the startup i.e. before MP loads up and it worked!.
