As an owner of a Yamaha DSP-A1 - an amp not easily bettered as far as audio output goes, but lacking in modern HD audio decoding (or HDMI), I'm looking for a BD player capable of on-board decoding and hence analog 5.1 outputs - any suggestions?
DMR-BD85GN-K. Should be around $360 at most stores on run-out now that stores are trying to move towards the 2011 models... that no longer feature much in the way of analogue outputs. If you're after something higher end - double your budget, but you will enjoy better picture. Whether it's $360 more performance, you decide.
