Thanks for all the comments, I was in JB Hi Fi and saw the 300 for $20, so picked it up and thought that if it was rubbish then it hadn't cost me much.

Works perfectly as a replacement for my TV, Argosy player, and DVD (all in one system we have), but doesn't seem to work with SKY, but in all honesty I'm prefectly happy now having 2 remotes (SKY and Harmony).

The kids know how to use the SKY remote with their eyes closed, so seems to make sense to leave that one as it is.

So all in all, very happy with the outcome..

I'm surprised that harmony doesn't control the Sky Digital STB. I have the next model remote up (700) and it works (almost) perfectly with our Sky STB. The almost is that it occasionally doesn't turn the box on or off correctly, but that is just a matter of tweaking the signal settings. What model did you use for the STB when you set the remote up? In my case I used SKY Digital Model DS230NNZ and the buttons map well, with only the + button needing remapping.

Ok, couldn't get the Pace one to work, but found another thread on here, which says theirs worked using Foxtel (IQ2) codes, so copied those and on the basic functions (the only ones I've tried so far) it works perfectly.

Thanks for all your help and comments folks...

Good stuff.

$20 gets you a replacement remote for your original device, but it also covers your other gear.

Even the basic ones give you a lot of scope now to develop and implement the 'Activities' functions, which is where the real power of the Harmony remotes lies. You get to automate a lot of common activities into single button pushes, which makes it very easy for others to use your system, without needing to know how it all connects together etc.

Right so you actually have a Mysky not just an ordinary Sky Digital decoder. You should also be able to find the Myskyhdi in the harmony database.

My Harmony One is good. Not great, it's not as fast as a native remote, but it's handy to only need one remote for most things. I still keep the TV and receiver remotes around because it's often easier to do things on there, and sometimes it's not possible to do everything on the harmony - probably because I haven't tried that hard.

The codes are in an online database, and you can do custom ones yourself if you want/need to.

Yeah I tried that, and also the MYSKY, then MYSKYHDi, and both of them were found and synced to my device but neither worked at all.

But using the Foxtel codes as I mentioned above, it now works perfectly on all functions, I think i had to add just two functions to it, and now have a fully functional device that covers all 4 of my remotes.

I found the Harmony site very easy to use and simple to make changes.

All in all, very impressed, thanks again for all your help and suggestions and feel for $20 it's a hell of a bargin.
