yes, sure you can put on 10 computers but they will be in breach of MSDN licensing. and also, private beta group is a closed group and not even all MSDN has the access to it.

s.joseph: no i know some one subscribed to msdn and im sure that it can be put on ten computers
The MSDN license is for DEVELOPMENT. You can use it on up to 10 computers for development purposes only.

The exception is the Office components, which can be installed in one computer for personal or business use, in addition to the developer licenses.

MSDN doesn't mean one can install in 10 computers for production or home use.

That is in breach of the MSDN license so it is illegal to have that software in your posession.

Well it was all going so well I found my Beta 2 DVD after much searching around the house - note to self, label DVD's after burning! - put the disk in the drive and booted into the install. Thats where it went pear shaped, seems I have deleted the lovely little email from MS that contains my product key, this was descovered after searching half a dozen email accounts.

So it looks like I will be sticking with MCE 2005.

Moral of the story - keep important emails and label your disks :-)

Another good reason to label the disc as well as putting the product key down on the disc too! hehe..

Oh well... check and see if you can get it from Connect?
