Hi All,

I've still having no luck trying to get my HVR-4400 to work with media portal.

Is there anyone out there that is using DVB-S with an HVR-4400 (121xxx) and Media Portal?

If you pick up 12635 V 5100 consistently (try with a manual scan) then at least you know that the tuner works. Use the advanced scanning section to test this.

Frequency = 12635000
SR = 5100
Polarisation = Vertical
Modulation = Not set (important!)
Inner FEC = Not set

Please advise whether that works.

Hi mm,

Thanks heaps for your help. I have just tested my rig on a different dish. And it works!!!!
Turns out my LNB must be on the way out... or dish alignment....

Interestingly enough the MySky unit is plugged into the same dish and works fine.
DVBViewer appeared to work fine, however the audio was choppy (initially i thought this may be codec related so didn?t think to mention it)

Signal must be right on the edge.

Great! Smile

Do you have one of those oval LNBs on the non-working dish?
