Does the apple TV2 have a web browser?

ie, any chance of using it (on it's own, not networked to a computer etc) to view iSKY?

Nope.
Sorry - it's not quite a PC replacement.

Has anybody done this with an Android device?
ie play music actually stored on the Android device, sending it to a receiver.

I've tried a few android apps to the PS3 for instance, but they all basically setup the unit as a server and all the control is done by the PS3. I want the opposite, in that I have a tablet or phone and want the music stored on this to be sent via wifi to my stereo/receiver. (The PS3 was just for testing and may not be in the final setup).

There are apps like double twist that link to Apple airplay / TV2 devices. Has anyone used an Android device with them? Can it work as described above?

Basically I want to be able to nicely control what song will play next etc via an Android tablet or other. Sony's PSP will do this I believe with the PS3 but I'm after some alternative to work with Android and that gives all control to the Android device, with the receiver/stereo end being dumb essentially.
