Marmion:
By full array LED LCD I assume you don't mean LED back-lit?

Yes I mean LED back-lit, but using an array (grid) of individually switchable LEDs, rather than the LEDs being around the edge with a diffuser like most LCD TVs and screens.

Lokhor has your friend made a decision? I now have a friend considering a new TV, for under $1000.

My friend ended up getting a Samsung series 6 40"

All comments are my own opinion, and not that of my employer unless explicitly stated.

May I ask for what price and from what store?
And did he get talked into an extended warranty? ;)
And what model, there appear to be at least 3 40" LCD-LED Series 6 TVs on the Samsung NZ website.
