dontpanic42: Cheers for that link. :)

Looks like this is the right one here:
http://nz.element14.com/raspberry-pi/raspbrry-pcba/sbc-raspberry-pi-model-b/dp/2081185

I am struggling to get past checkout though. It is trying to load the registration page but isn't getting their.

I guess it is coming from the global site. Will keep trying though.

A bit crazy considering it is still only 6.30am in the UK where most of the interest is!

Also a little note, i can get onto here fine: http://newzealand.rs-online.com

but it doesn't have the raspberry pi listed. Maybe the US one will do? or it could be only the uk version.

When i got onto the UK site it just redirected me to a register for interest page not the buy page anyway, possibly because i am outside the UK? will try with a vpn.

Yip, same here. Hits a brick-wall during checkout/registration.

$48.26 is a pretty reasonable price considering 35GBP converted is about NZ$65.
That's assuming 48.26 is in NZD.

The $35 price is in USD not GBP by the way

Ooh i got through the registration by using a VPN to UK, it has taken my payment fine. $55.50 total including GST - seems postage was included in the price so a decent price all up.

Confused about GST seen as i am buying from overseas but I am not complaining.

It seemed to be ok as I had it in my shopping cart before they sold out.

Good luck.

via element? Mine was 24 days shipping time or something, then was 38 days when I went back to it... Dunno why I slept on it... What was your stock available date thing?

Yeah mine says further stock in 38 days. Not sure if they will get sent to UK then onto NZ or go straight to NZ from a closer warehouse.

Not sure when the next lot will be in production for purchasing but seems like it will only be a few weeks not months.

Edit: it does says the product will ship from multiple warehouses so we will wait and see.

Yea, Im fairly sure that means you won't be part of the first 10,000 unit batch. They seem to be stepping up production in the next month to match demand

Ah, good to know. Thanks.

Not much in it then. And when you take shipping into account, probably nothing at all in it compared to NZ Farnell.

Still trying to secure one. Even through a VPN.

It was a shame that you couldn't order from the local RS Components site :(

Yay. Finally managed to order one through Element 14 NZ using various different non-CSSed forms, but got there in the end.
NZ$55.50.... 38 days wait.

I don't mind the wait, at least I managed to secure one.

I'd love to see some order number figures.
