kerryland: For the sake of completeness I feel the need to advise that ship2u actually charged me a whole nzd $6 for shipping the uhd disk from the USA to Auckland.

I bought the (Arrival) uhd for nzd 25 on ebay.

All in all I am pleased. Next time I'll get more disks to drop the shipping cost further.

Ship2u better than youshop? what about bulky items and oversized items?

Only thing a games console has against it is noise.

This this day and age of no digital to analogue conversion, there's very little in it otherwise.

Ive only run 1080 blurays thru mine, and it seems to quickly quieten down the drive when playing a movie, not annoying at all like loading games off discs. Perhaps the higher rates on a 4k disc mean it has to spin faster but that would be the case on a stand alone player too.

I can't tell you as I haven't ordered such items. They are a bit shambolic, and English is not their native language, but they are helpful (they have called when delivering and asked where I'd like it put!) and cheaper. I like the quirky experience :-)
