You can integrate mysky with mediaportal, but it is very complicated to setup.
I'm not sure if plex is powerful enough to do that.
Setting up Freeview HD with mediaportal or windows media centre is much easier.
I can't comment on setting up FreeviewHD for recording with plex, but if you already have My Sky, you would probably be best to just use my sky for all live tv + tv recording.

Yep this is one area I need to investigate...ideally I want be able to record all content that I can connect to...I don't have mysky ......something I need to find out more on now before I move to Plex
