Kopkiwi:sen8or: Except if you are intolerant to the effects of a wheel spinning in front of the light source, then the rainbows and eye strain make them unwatchable.
Which is a very very small percentage of people and somewhat not an issue with 6x wheels.

I may be incorrect but I'm pretty sure you also don't get lens shift with DLP so the projector has to be dead centre of where you are projecting. Lens shift allows for mounting high/low or even off to the side of the room.
flynkiwi: The Mitsubishi HC7900DW does have verticle lense shift but not horozontal. The BenQ w1070 also does as well but not as much as the mitsubish. Both dont have any horozontal shift however so have to be centered in the room in relation to the screen position.
When looking at the HC7900DW with a 120" screen then the throw distance is about 4.4meters with seating position starting at 3.7m so fits well in my room. Just now need to see if I really need it now considering the room wont be ready to use until about May/June.
flynkiwi: How are you going to ship your one you are buying Kopkiwi ?
flynkiwi: at last I think I have found a solution!!
Kiwishipping a mainfreight company does shipping like many of the other USA my address type freight forwarders from their base in California.

The cost to ship (sea freight) the screen and the projector is going to be $250NZ. considering I was looking at about $100 just for the projector then this is quite a good deal.
The fact that it may take 6 - 8 weeks is not an issue either as I have to renovate the room so this gives me a timeframe to work too.
I think I will sign up and place some orders tomorrow once I double check the screen size I need in the room.
