red5ive: Hey everyone,

I am definitely keen to get the BlackGold card as well.  I have a mate here in NZ who has close connections in the UK, so we might be able to save on shipping if I can get a few of us to order together.

If I can get 3 or more of us to do it, I don't mind paying out for the order and everyone else can just pay me directly.

I've got a few spare Courier bags, too, so I don't mind shipping anywhere in NZ (I'm based in Taranaki) for free.

Drop me a line if you're interested.

A generous offer! Id be keen for that. Let me know if you get a couple more replies and if so, lets do it!

Would kinda like 100% confirmation that they work here no probs first, but I dont see why they wouldnt.

Is there any reason they wouldnt?

If you guys are willing to wait a couple weeks, I will give you a definite answer to that question.

I currently have satellite, but will also be getting a terrestrial aerial so I can test and utilize the full potential of this card.

Hi there

Due to no free slots in my shuttle PC, I too have been looking for a dual DVB-S card for a while...

I've contacted Black Gold and asked if the price on-line includes the UK's 17.5% VAT. If it does, we should be able to get this deducted as it will be an export sale.

I'm ordering as soon as I have a response. Would anyone else like to be in on the order?

I've had replies for 3 other people at this stage, so I will be proceeding with an order soon, provided I can get a decent enough deal.

Anyone who is interested in sharing the load is welcome to send me a message with your name and email address and I'll be in touch.

Oh god - I've just realised that these cards are PCI Express, not PCI.

I don't have a free PCI Express slot on my Shuttle PC as the only one I have is being taken up with a video card. It looks like I am back to the drawing board on this one.

Okay, so aside from the Pinnacle card that doesn't work under Media Center, does anybody know of another dual DVB-S card out there?

B.

Yeah guys, make sure your PC has a spare PCI-e X1 slot on your motherboard.

I'm using an older SPECTRA HTPC that does, and thankfully the tuner card is low-profile friendly, so I'll be set.

Hey everyone,

Just a note to say that I have prices from BlackGold in the UK and I'll be sending out an email tonight to everyone who's expressed interest in buying one of the tuner cards.

The prices are really good and I've arranged a decent price for getting the cards landed in NZ, so if you think you might want one and you haven't already contacted me, please do so ASAP so I can confirm numbers and costs.

Cheers

Delivery only took 6 days...not bad.

Nice little compliments card in box, nice touch.

No instructions...hmmm....now have to figure out what these 2 headers are for (audio I am guessing)
Only one cable provided in the box, have attached to card, appears to be a power supply...so no cables provided for the other 2 headers?....hmmm....

Will report back when I have installed and tested.

Hey all,

Just want to let everyone know that I've emailed out pricing details for the Black Gold TV cards if you had expressed interest in getting one.

Order will be placed early next week for those who are onboard.
