timmmay: I'm trying to decide if the buzzing is more than I can tolerate. It bugs me, but I only hear it during the quiet parts of shows.

btw J B Hifi wouldn't play anything other than their single demo disk. I purchased mine from L V Martin, who'd play anything I want, from any source. Much better service.

See...
I simply don't understand why the sales person wouldn't let you do that?
I mean, it's just a DVD or BluRay player bring plugged in... for what? 5 minutes?
Unless you were paying porn on their plasma etc... Wink

I didn't want to plug anything in, in J B Hifi, I just wanted to a movie or a TV program, rather than their specially crafted sample Blu Ray DVD. Anything else really. But no go. They guy used pressure sales techniques and gave no service so I went elsewhere. I should tell them that, but I doubt they'd care for a little $5K sale.

Also turns out that people that work in electrical stores don't give a crap what you put on there screens. lol

true - you have to mind the other customers in store seeing your video feed.

Lesson learned I suppose...
But if you want them to learn, flick them an e-mail via their website. These feedback e-mails tend to go direct to the decision makers, making for a very quick resolution. Of course, if they're on Twitter (are they?) message them on there. I've had a mate get a very quick resolution using that method.
That's if you can be bothered. Wink
