Resolution yes, but the screen size is still 16:9

You could have also gone up a size to 50"

In the end I did for that very reason. All the 42" screens I viewed where 16:9 size, but 4:3 native resolution, which is fine if you watch a lot of TV (4:3) stretched, but watching TV at 4:3 requires modification to the picture, as does DVD (mostly 16:9), because it has to be compressed to 4:3 to be displayed at 16:9.

Anyone else out there got the Acer 37" 3705-DTV (/-MGW) and got the wall mount brackets already?

I've got the TV, but still debating over the wall brackets.  It is a fair amount of weight to support, but the price of the brackets by themselves does seem a bit high.  Anyone seen/played with them and have any opinions?

Thx.
Jp.
