timmmay: Can anyone point to a good guide to get the Harmony remotes working with XBMC? Also tips on how they communicate would be good - do you add a remote receiver? I got a media remote which works, but I don't use because I don't like having all those remotes around.

use the harmony to either clone your existing media remote or set it to MCE emulation, continue to use the same IR receiver.

Yeah we went nuts when we first got ours and went around cloning everything.  These days it's seems every device has a remote control, like a fan heater we got etc, just random stuff they try for the upsell on by adding a remote and lcd screen, be that useful or not.  Adding these to the harmony database is like a backup of your physical remotes in some ways.

Good point, I forgot I could just clone the remote. When I get around to it I'll try to find a guide though, easier that way.
