That's a shame in my eyes. I wasn't a fan of 3D initially, but my SXRD Sony has some of the best 3D I've seen. I can't think of a cinema I've been to that is better.

 

Not sure about the practicality of it on a LED/LCD but on my projector it's breath taking. 

 

My Kids LOVE it.

You're talking about your projector right? I'm pretty sure they were only talking about 3D on 2017 TVs. As I said in my earlier post on 3D's demise, I think a projector is the one home use case where it actually works!
