Hey guys,

 

Rob checking in. Just moved to NZ from Canada, still getting settled in, but noticing tech is 20-40% more expensive here than back home. Going to have to be a little smarter with what I purchase lol.

Welcome and apologies in advance for all the lame Canadian "eh" jokes!

 

Is there sales tax in Canada? The 15% GST on *everything* in NZ plus the extra cost of shipping and small economy of scale here will do that to prices. You'll see that folks here at GZ purchase a *lot* of gadgets on Amazon, eBay etc to get around this.

 

But hey, there are places in NZ where you can walk from the East coast to the West coast in aboot 20 min, try doing that in Canada!
