Hi guys.

I got myself a second hand laptop on Trademe. However the battery life is absolute rubbish.

I have read a youtube clip that says you can rebuild battery using new cells for almost half the cost.

I thought in the mean time, I'd just rebuild my battery using Cells from my old laptop. (That battery could last for an hour and a half maybe more.



I opened both batteries, and what I can see is that all the cells look identical on both.

 

There is the same amount of numbers of cells on everything.

However the models of the cells are slightly different.

The ones on the rubbish battery starts with SE, but the ones on the good cells start with SF.

Both of them have the same numbers afterwards which is US18659GR.

Also my main concern, is that the battery from the one laptop is rated 10.8v, and the other is 11.1v.

Would the cells work?
