Anyone used batteryer.co.nz ?

Usual "too good to be true" alarms are warming up but thought I'd see if anyone had actually dealt with them first ;)

I'd refuse to use it just because it has a stupid name.

looks like a duplication of bestbattery.co.nz

I've used laptopbattery.co.nz, they delivered, I don't have any actual complaints about them.

BEFORE you buy, ask them for their NZ address.
There are a lot of .co.nz registered addresses that have their "business" back in China and its all drop shipped from there.

Also exists on http://www.batteryer.sg/ and http://www.batteryer.jp/ - plus there is also batteryer.com - although the .com is not a clone of the other sites.

I wouldn't be surprised if it's cloned locally all over the place.

Actually, the .com looks like them too, claims to be a Hong Kong supplier.

For .co.nz site:
registrant_contact_name: David Williams

registrant_contact_address1: Kowloon, HK

registrant_contact_city: Hong Kong

And your point is..... ? Anyone can say anything they like on a site, dosent always mean theyll do it. :)

Anyway, ended up ordering from the original supplier, cost more but the knowledge of knowing who I was dealing with was worth it, is easily contactable locally for any issues....

I've got a funny feeling "gooddenchi" is associated with the business in question.

Yup, figured that ;)

An actual human response would have been nicer than just a quote from their site ;)
