yeah I know there have been recommend threads etc and its like asking how long a piece of string.  Therefore asking any experience between 2 budget ones

Lenovo B590  and HP 250 G1

Both same specs i3-3110m 4GB Ram and 500GB hard drive.  Although hard drive immaterial as have ssd which will go in it.

Both 15.6 anti glare screens.

My Asus K52F has died, never did like the reflective screen anyway.

So just asking opinions between these 2.   I can get a similar Acer but dont want to touch one with a barge pole from experiences in past

edit to say I do use it to watch Netflix and Quickflix.   Yes 1366 x 786 resolution is fine for me.

Personally I'd go for the Lenovo, Not really a fan of the low end HP gear. If it was a Pro/Ellitebook on the other hand it would be a different story all together

Thanks, I have a probook for main laptop and it has been great. Just wasnt sure of the low range in either.  One advantage the Lenovo has is usb 3 ports but that wont be the deciding factor.

Lenovo are built like tanks, ugly but effective. I got one for my Mum, and if I needed a laptop they'd be at the top of my list. Recommended.
