Hi guys,

I dropped my laptop.. dropped it hard :(  It's an 'oldie' but boy was she powerful.  I'm talking full boot up in 10 seconds..  Toshiba-

PSPLTA-0DW068

I am going to go through the insurance process, and just thought It might be worth asking if anyone could help out finding a possible replacement.  I know Optical Drives are becoming a thing of the past for Laptops these days, but a Blu-Ray drive is one of the big 'must haves' for me.

Suggestions would be very much appreciated!

Getting a CD/DVD/Blu-ray drive means the laptop is thicker than usual. Would you consider an external Blu-ray player?

I dont mind thickness, as it's very rare I actually take it anywhere, and if I do, it's usually a motel unit while im working out of town, so it would be connected to mains power anyway.

External might be ok if there were no laptops with same or similar specs I guess.
