Does anyone know where Lenovo send their laptops for repair, under warranty?

When I was in the consumer side of the industry, Lenovo repairs were sent to Sydney via DHL (at Lenovo‘s cost). Used to be reasonably quick turnaround although their call centre were hit and miss.

I’m not sure if they still do this or if it’s different for enterprise/pro gear.

Thanks for your reply. I asked this question of Lenovo on Facebook, through a PM. They never said, just steered me to the NZ support number.

I suspect it is still Australia. I will phone them tomorrow and see if they will give me a direct answer.

I think they sub-contract it out to a few different repair shops depending on where in the country you are and what sort of service is required.

Spoke to the call centre today. They say that repairs are done in Auckland. When pressed about which firm, I was told it is repaired at "our service centre".

I then specifically asked if it was sent to Australia, from Auckland. They said no.
