richms: Did they say why they cancelled it?

I suspect dell are just canceling orders for BS reasons when they oversell things beyond what they can supply in the timeframe quoted.

I didn't bother to ask as you say it would have been a BS reason they are told to deliver. I will wait and see if the unit arrives by the 3rd and I still dont really belive that is has 3g capability with voice even though thats what they advertise.

So my Dell Venue 7 arrived by surprise this morning!

Must check the order number see if it is the original order or the replacement order.

So first impressions well if I was a real esate salesman I would say sturdy construct with a screen with clarity
but I am not so
chunky build with grainy screen
but them I am use to a ipad mini retina which makes ones toes curl with clarity!
The phone (voice call) works well it is only 3g so whatever
First Issue does not work with skinny
but that doesnt really matter as 2 degrees is cheaper now or should i say again
so all in all 7 out of 10
Lets not forget this was $199 NZD delivereded for a 7" "Phablet"

oh nearly forgot running 4.44 ham sandwich or whatever android is calling it!

Ok so I have owned and used the Dell Venue 7 for a few weeks now
Generally for the price I am impressed It does all I need and more
The version 4.4 is all good not sure what the benifets are but it works ok
the screen changes are nice and smooth and the sped is great

THE SCREEN IS AWFUL!!!
I thought they had put a screen protector on it it was that grainy
BUT i am comparing it to my apple mini retina

all in all Great value at $199 delivered
