Hello Im looking at buying a laptop for multiple things I live in New Zealand the things I am looking to use it for are radio broadcasting and general year 12 school work. There is no real budget but less than 5000 nz would be great. and would also like to be able to tune in to 91.3FM on the radio ((ZM todays hit music)).

I am also wondering how I would possibly go about building my own laptop that brings in both the best functions from windows and macbookpro. and what I would need to do so. Now my dream laptop for this would have about 2-5 terabytes of hard drive 2GB of RAM and about a 15 inch screen and fairly thin.

I would also like to design and make my own computer programs for it and build it into the laptop. The laptop would also have a built in music desk (music mixer) and be able to hook into microphones. and a built in transmitter and wireless internet and be able to hook into broadband. And could you please give an estimate cost to build this laptop.
