I think you mean resistive, but yeah, thats the advice I got from my Twitter mates too.

PB has an android 2.3 for about the same price minus the keyboard and cover. It is also resistive (and claims multi-touch). Anyone tried it?

PB has a youtube promo for an earlier model running 2.1:
