heavenlywild: networkn, I was thinking about getting the X1 until they decided to make the caps lock half the size, and lack a dedicated insert button.
Have you considered the Asus UX301?

I had looked at it but earlier discarded it because of the 13" screen as I really wanted a 14/15 this time around. I think I may need to reconsider the 13" models. I don't think the Asus is in NZ is it?

Yep, Asus is in NZ but the UX301 is hard to get. Only the 512GB version is available which is quite expensive. I am considering BH Photo in the US.
heavenlywild: My top 3 options:
Asus UX301
Toshiba Kirabook
HP Spectre 13
I am torn! Asus looks awesome but so expensive over the rest.

Some video clips on the net are about 2inches by 1.5 inch if it is not coded to fill the screen
Adobe photoshop i can't read anything the fonts are microscopic
Remote desktop to my work the fonts are microscopic i can't read a thing
Some programs the fonts scale up but the boxes don't so you can't read anything as the buttons are not visible (these programs are rare)
Pain in thr arse. Wish i had bought one with a 1920/1080 screen instead of 3200/1600 which cost mycompany a bomb
heavenlywild: ^same here, I would love to see some samples of the pain you go through with everyday programs.

I am thinking I might grab the Asus because it's so much cheaper. You are in Auckland right? You are welcome to come and take a look when I get back and if I hate it, you might be able to buy it :)

I have customers we have sold the Kira to, I wouldn't buy one for myself.
