Very tempting...

My views (except when I am looking out their windows) are not those of my employer.

Curious. Seems a little counter-productive to include a dedicated GPU in an ultrabook, especially when there's already an HD 5000 in there (which is no slouch).
It's fair to say that NVIDIA have certainly improved power efficiency in recent years. Even so, I'd be surprised if a GT 730M is no less than twice the TDP of a non-Iris Haswell (i.e. any gaming away from mains will slaughter battery life).

I guess it depends on what someone wants to do with their ultrabook?

oh dear the new dell XPS 15 with 3200QHD screen proper i7HQ processor has landed too ... darn ... to spend money on powerhouse and use an ipad (which can't do a lot of stuff - flash, certain sites, dumb company which codes everything to only run on internet explorer) on the run?

The ASUS UX301 is probably more aligned to my needs but no sign of that yet.

It uses the integrated Haswell 5100 graphics.

Don't know if it has mentioned but the ACER Aspire S7 has some reasonable reviews:
