I hope so. Bonus topups disappearing and being replaced with this was a bit disappointing. Once every 3 months or so i'd get some data or minutes which were handy, the rest of it was international texts and minutes which are no good to me.

Yeah I got some good stuff and like you some useless stuff. The most interesting one was when I topped up my T-Stick and got about 30 minutes of free local NZ calls. I did suggest to Telecom that they made it so that the rewards could be used on another prepay device but they never bothered to answer..

A key reason for me leaving XT was the 'unreliable' nature of their topup bonuses. But I guess this probably costs them much less than their original system without deterring too many people. Would be nice if they fine tuned it like suggested above.

Once again Telecom shoot themselves in the foot - the rewards were not much but they were something. They are gone with nothing to replace them - this in the same week as talk of a possible multi million dollar goodbye present for the outgoing CE
