Hi there,

I was just wondering if anyone has seen this situation before...
I had a customer today whom owns a Motorola Defy. They have their MotoBlur account E-mail the same as their E-mail account XXXXX@xtra.co.nz.

Upon trying to access their E-mail account, it prompted that their E-mail or password was incorrect, yet when I log onto Xtra E-mail via my PC it connected just fine. I have scouted through the network settings and everything seems normal... E-mail is registered correctly, in the correct network service, password is fine and is setup as POP3. Am stumped as to why the mobile will not connect, have even conducted a network reset to no adieu...

I figured I would see if anyone has experienced this conflict before with Defy's and Xtra E-mail accounts, otherwise I'll have to Factory reset the phone then subsequently send away for repair if all doesn't go so well...

Any opinions would me much appreciated.

Cheers,
-Richie.

I recommend using the Yahoo Mail app instead.
