Guys I want to change over to the naked vdsl2 broadband , I have a question on the modem that comes with the package, looks like the Technicolor is not gigbit lan where as the pace modem is. Can I ask for the pace one even though the connection will be residential. I don't want to loose my gigabit lan. Currently I use a tp-link adsl modem which has 4 gigabit ports.
What are my options here.

Use an external gig switch with either modem, or BYO modem.
