so in preparation for my VDSL install tomorrow i (probably stupidly) decided to upgrade my H630b to the latest firmware in advance - via the spark website.
so i downloaded the firmware and applied it... and now about 30% of the time i go to a site it redirects me to http://www.spark.co.nz/help/broadbandsetup 

everything seems to be working fine - my citrix connection to work wasnt even interrupted and is still working n the background and i can get to the page if i refresh a few times - but its obviously really annoying and not something i wanna live with :P

i tried downloading the broadband helper but its not compatible with OSX 10.10 and fails to install... 

the only thing i am using the router for is as a gateway - so i have DHCP turned off and use my own router to dole out local IPs and using googles DNS servers (8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4).

i have tried upgrading it twice now and factory reseting the settings too as recommended on the spark support page...

Any suggestions?
